Samsung Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility
Taylor, Texas

The Taylor project is particularly exciting due to its potential to significantly enhance both global and local communities. Samsung began construction in early 2022, aiming to commence operations in 2024.
This new Taylor facility will increase the production of semiconductor solutions crucial for next-generation technologies, including 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing (HPC). By expanding manufacturing capacity, Samsung aims to better meet customer needs and contribute to the stability of the global semiconductor supply chain. Located less than 30 minutes from Austin, Taylor will benefit from Samsung's investment through the creation of thousands of jobs and valuable training opportunities.
Alongside Samsung’s existing Austin site, this new facility promises to create exciting prospects for Central Texans for many years to come.
Kia Georgia Assembly Plant

Kia is expanding its Georgia manufacturing facility to accommodate its first electric vehicle (EV) production line in the United States. This expansion is a pivotal move in Kia's strategy to strengthen its presence in the EV market.

Factory ZERO, General Motors’ flagship assembly plant, marks a significant milestone in their journey towards an all-electric future. Built on the site of the former Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant, this 3.5 million square foot facility was designed. Once fully operational, Factory ZERO will have the capacity to produce 270,000 vehicles annually, reinforcing GM’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
Duksan Electera Electrolyte

Duksan Electera America, Inc., a South Korean chemicals manufacturer, is making its first foray into North American production with a new plant dedicated to producing various electrolyte solutions for lithium-ion cells. The facility will feature a blend of office and industrial space, where raw, liquid, and powder chemicals will be mixed and prepared for distribution.
Hankook Tire

Hankook aimed to establish its first U.S. facility to expand its American market share in the top-tier tire industry. For this endeavor, complete design services were provided for the initial phase of a four-phase passenger tire manufacturing plant in Clarksville, Tennessee. Located on a 469-acre greenfield site offers substantial production capacity for the South Korean company and is expected to create approximately 1,800 full-time jobs in the Middle Tennessee region.
